E-Mail Therapy

E-mail is still the most common way therapists interact with you online.  Because you don’t both have to be online at the same time, you and the therapist can take time with your thoughts and write at length. E-mail is especially preferred by people who like to write, and people who have very
busy schedules.

Cost:
$35 per e-mail exchange
$100 for 4 e-mail exhanges
$150 for one month unlimited e-mails

How To Pay

Most e-therapists charge a small fee for their services; this enables them to devote appropriate professional time and attention to your needs. In almost all cases, the fee is far less than you would pay for the same amount of time spent in that therapist’s office.

Do compare fees; they vary enormously. Chat tends to be more expensive than e-mail (particularly because it is a slow way of communicating). Do not necessarily assume that therapists who charge more are better; some may be, but not always.
